About SCORE

The Satellite Constellation Observation Repository (SCORE) is a project developed and maintained by the International Astronomical Union Centre for the Protection of the Dark and Quiet Sky from Satellite Constellation Interference (IAU CPS).

SatChecker Reference Data

SCORE's data includes reference values from SatChecker for the time and location of each observation - SatChecker makes use of data obtained from Space-Track and Celestrak to predict satellite positions. For more infomation on that data, please visit the SatChecker documentation.

TLE-based reference positions may vary in accuracy for recently launched satellites, satellites with a decaying orbit, or those that have undergone recent maneuvers.

Satellite names and NORAD IDs may be temporary designations and can change over time. As a result, the name of a satellite at the time of an observation may not be the same as the name of the satellite in SCORE. SCORE will always use the most recent name and NORAD ID for a satellite.

Citing SCORE

All data in SCORE is made available under the SCORE Use Policy, and should be cited with the following statements:
